New features are here, and more to come!

Hello! We’ve got some exciting plans for FromSoft Fanatics.

As mentioned in an earlier blog post, we have some changes coming to the website. Since coming back, we have wanted to make the site more user friendly and easier to access. In the day and age of social media and other popular platforms such as reddit, we have come to terms that individual/niche message boards or user registration for comments don’t cut it.

As that is the case, we have now implemented Disqus to the comments. The old comments from the articles have been converted. New comments will be made through this platform, which enables users from Facebook, Twitter, and Disqus to login seamlessly and leave comment. It’s quite simple.

The Games Page has been redone. Currently, it lists the most recent games as of Demon’s Souls, all the way through Sekiro. Each image or link under a specific game leads you to the page of articles for each specific game. As a new article comes out for a new game, this games page will automatically redirect and update. In addition to that, the Retro games page is still a work in progress. This one is a bit of a doozy, as there does not appear to be much interest in it…so its fate is undetermined.

The Walkthrough pages is currently being worked on. The old Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne walkthroughs still exist. They’re currently unlisted and will be back up in a day or two. There are plans to eventually work on a Dark Souls Trilogy walkthrough, as there is Sekiro. Unfortunately, nothing is in the works for a Déraciné walkthrough.

We’re currently in the process if coming up with a new page or two to make the site feel a bit more fun, and have the user continue to come back. If you have any suggestions, please contact us.

Ultimately, FromSoft Fanatics drive is to continue to post new updates as new games come out. However, we’d also like to address more interesting matters, such as a “What would you like to see in the next Armored Core” article too.  We hope you come on back and enjoy, and always feel free to leave a comment!
