The release date for Dark Souls 3 in Japan was just announced moments ago! Dark Souls 3 will be releasing in Japan on Mach 24, 2016. Down below are the press release images that go hand in hand with the article. As you can tell, there will definitely be a limited edition copy of Dark Souls 3. Each game has had a limited edition, so it was to be expected.
The release date for the PC version and and dates in other regions will be announced at an event on a later date. Perhaps we will get a confirmation at the PlayStation Experience? (Unless the Bloodborne Expansion is shown off there rather than TGS.)
In other news, a stress test was announced for the PlayStation 4 console version of Dark Souls 3 (only on the PlayStation version it seems). The dates for these tests are October 16, 17, and 18.
Personally speaking, I am beyond excited for this game! I absolutely adore the Souls/Borne series (obviously -why else would I create this site?) and cannot get enough of it. Dark Souls 3 is almost near, and we can certainly look forward to the game, especially with some of its new exciting changes. You can also look forward to the very upcoming Bloodborne expansion, as fan speculation theorizes that we will finally get to see a glimpse of the game from a trailer at either the Tokyo Game Show (TGS -September 15 at 12 AM PT) or the PlayStation Experience (PSX - December 5th and 6th). Both Dark Souls 3 and the Bloodborne expansion are guaranteed to be fantastic.
